New addition to the Excuses project

I ave been rather absent

So to those of interest

I have of late been concentrating more on my most regular income however my determination to get back in the swing could be no greater.

I have been sampling and ingesting the work of Mr Jago and many other illustrators and besides that adding to my excuse project, which involves creative and illustrative use of text to visualise a sentence or a sequence of sentences to communicate a reason for being late and or any kind of excuse. The results have been ......amusing however I have been strict on my self and not let my imagination get the best of me.

On the design level Im am hopefully teaming up with a local photographer or two as I have an interest in photography t0 better develop my skills and also gain some new business. I would also like to get back in the dark room and have a play around and see what lovely happy mistakes I make. Some things cant be planned

2011

Well it's come around quick enough. 2010 is gone, and 2011 is here and with all the finance issues things are looking tough. However I have quit smoking, have not had one for since saturday and intend to keep it that way til the end of the week.

On the design side of things I need to:

Get more commissions

Bug my current client and find out what is going on

finish as many tattoo designs as I can

comprise a new portfolio featuring my latest work

and I need to start using more materials besides pen and pencil and adobe.

but with my current job and being having to leave home and find my own place finding money for this will be hard.
